Biking on Big Basin Way

Filed under: Running — arungupta @ 5:37 pm

Another 30 mile weekend – 3.5 miles running on Saturday and 27 miles bike covering Big Basin Way.

The beginning of the Big Basin Way is 4 miles from my home and then it’s a 7 mile steep climb (starting at 300 ft and ascending to 2632 ft) to Skyline Blvd. I tried biking all the way up few times before but my body did not cooperated. Today, I decided and did it with couple of short breaks. The next goal is to bike all the way up without any break :)

  1. Out of curiosity, Arun, as precisely as you can answer, when was the last time you played in a game of cricket?

  2. Oh gosh, I don’t think I’ve ever played cricket after coming to this country :) And even back home I used to follow the game a LOT but relatively less playing. I certainly enjoy the different sports this country has to offer.

  3. And BTW, I used to bike in India as well quite regularly :)
