Hi, I work in JEE with JBoss AS and our apps are clients of .NET systems( with Webservices),
I saw your Demo accesing a Database, in our projects we have to retrieve data from WebServices.
I want to develop and build my apps in JRuby on Rails an deploy in JBoss AS, but i have to access to web services ( I know how to do it with Rails and with JEE) the problem is i don’t know if goldspike supports this kind of migration in the generated war.
So my question is:
The migration would be the same?
If we have a Rails Web Services Application, we need another plug-in to deploy it into a war application?
Greetings from Mexico.

Roberto, http://blogs.sun.com/arungupta/entry/totd_12_invoking_a_java explains how to invoke a Web service endpoint deployed on GlassFish. You can use similar logic for your application and bundle all the appropriate libraries in the WAR file. HTH.

Or you can deploy your application on GlassFish v3 as is, without any WARing. This is explained at: http://blogs.sun.com/arungupta/entry/screencast_26_develop_run_debug
